Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

Hi Friends!
"I will give You thanks in the great assembly;
among throngs of people I will praise You."
Psalm 35:18
That countdown clock is really going down. I'm so excited! I leave tomorrow after work. Sitting here making a list of all the things we can do. last load of laundry for over a week is in the dryer. House is almost done. Just floors to do now. Fridge and freezer stocked with 15 year old's and Ol' Man's favorites. I'm sure they'll live on junk food and soda for a week without me here to put real food on their plates.
IS IT FRIDAY YET?
Good Morning All !
Excited for all of you!! It's finally your PIR this Friday!!
I couldn't be any more nuts right now about this trip than I am! lol I have a big suitcase packed full of SR's stuff for him to choose from. I'll have to lug the rest home (I anticipated this lol).
He's SOOOOO excited that I think between the two of us? We're now over the top and over the edge excited. He's feeding my excitement. ha ha ha ha. He's been like a race horse at the gate the last few days. Seriously he has. ha ha ha ha He called my phone today. Back to back calls. 3 times! Unfortunately I couldn't get to it in time because I was at work. BUT? I have permission to keep my ringer on and if he calls in the next few days? I AM answering and stepping away from what I am doing. (I love the store I work for! They are military friendly!).
Boyfriend is taking me to the airport (he volunteered because I told him I was taking a cab!). I have to be at the airport at 3 am. (He must love me to want to do that because he's normally down and in bed by 8 pm every night!) I work the night before until 6:30 pm.. I'm working every night this week up until Wed night actually. No time for naps. Not even sure I'm sleepy. lol!
Son has been on FB. The first day (yesterday) that he was? One of my daughters posted that she didn't believe it was him and thought it was ME posting as HIM on his facebook. He gave me his log in info to keep people updated. I hadn't been doing it on his account log in. But mine lately. He had to message her to let her know it was REALLY him. And I print screened my phone to show her I wasn't insanely posting back and forth to myself as him! Just too funny!. He now see's just how missed he was! And HOW PROUD everyone is of him. He's just bubbling over. Literally. Never seen him like this honestly. LOL!
It's like Christmas all over again for him. For us.
But better! ;)
I am all packed and ready to go....Road trip tomorrow (thanks to my sister) to see my Navy Sailor.. I have missed her so..Family is ready and excited to go...yea!!!!!!
