For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

Does anyone know if they have ever sent 4 divisions into Battlestations at one time? Also, do they just do it during the week and not on the weekends? Can you tell I am stressing out! Lol! I am not a patient person, :/

Here is the scoop ladies! I got the I am a sailor call 30 minutes ago ship 12/289! I am so proud of my daughter. Prayers goes out to 8 Sr that got asmoed. This Division is an all girls group that have earned there bragging rights! Thank You Jesus!

There was a mom who was supposed to be at PIR today to see her Sailor graduate. Yesterday her flight was canceled and she couldn't get another until this morning so she missed his PIR. I highly suggest you travel a day early if at all possible. Even if you can or can't do that make some friends on here or on the facebook group with a Sailor in the same division and share your cell numbers with each other. That way you can contact them if something like this comes up and they can talk to your Sailor and let them know what is going on and maybe even take them with their family for the day so that they are not just wandering around wondering why their family is not there. We are all Navy Family now and we take care of each other. The love and friendship you form now will amaze you and may last a lifetime. Also, if you have to take a later flight change your voicemail to say what is going on and when you will be landing in case your Sailor does call. Always good to have a backup plan :)

I can tell you my son has changed ships ..changed bunkmates and has had three bunk moves..God has put so many in his path...it is amazing what God is doing for our kiddos...keep the faith Ladies
