We are going to book our hotel this weekend. I'm not sure where to stay just yet though. Going to go over the choices with my mom and then decide. She was kind enough to offer to pay for our room :) I looked up the Navy lodge and it seems to be all booked up for the days I want. Oh well.

YES! My daughter she is on the phone right now!!!

How did she get to call? My son is in that division and I haven't heard from him since they got there on the 12th!

Don't worry Gina... I haven't gotten a call from my son either... he is in the same Division. I keep telling myself, no news is good news. Hoping my son is just too busy and isn't having a hard time.

Gina,

My son was supposed to call as well... When he called last week July 10, he said they're phone privileges where delayed because they got in trouble for not marching properly..He was originally scheduled to call Friday, July 6 (according to a letter I received from him).  By now i'm sure you have heard from your son

Hi Gina. Yes, this is Tish from FB :) yes, I heard from LoRelle just that one day last week (I think) when he called... and one really short letter yesterday, but that's it. Are they doing battle stations this week? You probably don't know either.

We booked rooms at the Ramada inn.

We booked ours at Crossland Chicago - Waukegan.

My son is is on ship 02 div 939. No call, except when he got there and no letters either.

me either. :(

my son is in the same ship/div. No calls since "I'm here" call but no news is good news right?

I would like to think so.

I talked to my son on Monday!  It was an info call for his physical.  Said they were able to write this past Sunday so everyone should be getting letters soon.  He did not know when they would be able to call. But as of Monday their DIV was on Week 2 Day 1 so today should be Week 2 Day 3 if I am counting correct.
