N4M's Community Guidelines

OPSEC.

~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.

~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.

~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.

~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:

• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:

• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.

Some Suggestions:

~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.

~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option

~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

keefa,

Yea, congrats on getting a call.  I have read that things mentaly start getting better the third week.  Things come together.  They have talked with family who have reassured them.  They are starting to work as a team to accomplish goals. Heres to happy, healthy tired recruits.  May God bless them all.

Wheeew, Lala.  She is certainly getting practice with the contractions!  So glad that it isn't quite time yet!

Good Morning All !

Comment by Lala Ribbon Queen PIR Ribbons on July 9, 2013 at 7:47am

Well, they said the contractions are real but she still isn't dilating any so they sent her back home. Looks like Eastyn isn't quite ready. She will come when she is and a little more "baking" will be good for her vital organs  I have to get prepared as well. Get caught up and way ahead and oh the dreaded paperwork lol. I always take my work with me, that's the good thing about working from home :) Thanks so much for all the thoughts and prayers. I appreciate all of you more than you will ever know <3

Praying Lala!

We are on Baby Watch, My Sailors are at the hospital, contractions are 3 to 5 min apart and according to ultrasound head is down but she has not dilated any, they are keeping her for now checking her again in two hours. She is 36 weeks and 3 days, due Aug 2nd so I am hoping she waits a little longer but it looks more like I will be heading to VA Beach very very soon. Please keep them and me in your prayers <3
