~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

stacystu,
At least they can both come and be at the hotel watching the livestreaming PIR on a laptop. They will still be able to be there to get that hug from him and go to the airport early the next morning to spend time with him there, so all is not lost!
Needing some help. :)
Is Ship 13 for divisions 307/308 correct?
Is anyone here yet that has an SR in division 309 or 310, and what Ship are they in?
I have to say I am pretty heartbroken about the three guests. Who do I leave out, my son's fiancé or his brother. It stinks. A lose, lose situation. Sorry, just venting. I know some of you ladies are in the same boat :(
And I think you are the one sending it to us since we are north of you so please stop lol
lol Diannep now that would be funny. You know last year we were here when Tropical storm Debbie or Deborah, whatever the name was, was here. Man that was a mess. There were boys riding skim boards in the streets lol so at least it isn't that bad. My crazy husband is gone on a deep sea trip out in this nasty rain and 7 to 10 foot waves. No way I would be out there, we have plenty of fish in the freezer lol
Well, Lala, you must be sending your rain our way because we are underwater too! If the grass gets any higher, my dogs will have to go outside with flags on their tails so we can find them! Hope you are having fun....in spite of!
I am still in Florida, not happy with all this rain on my vacation lol. We had a blowout of one of the tires on the rental truck today and had to change that in the rain, planning to go to the Florida Aquarium tomorrow in Tampa so hopefully it will be a better day than today. Can someone please turn the faucet off at least until the weekend? lol and thanks
oh, and they don't use the Grad N Go term anymore. But that is basically what it is. They will have PIR Day with you, then will bussed late that night or in the wee hours to the airports to wait for their flights. You can visit with them there and bring personal items to them then. Take ID so you can get an airlines gate pass and wait with them until departure.
shello: yes, they typically fly out the day after PIR. However, if you are able to stay until Sunday, just in case, that would be good. Occasionally they cannot get flights on Saturday and will fly out Sunday. Doesn't happen often, but it has happened in the past.
Yep, 3 guests for groups with 13 divisions or more.
