All recruits have now graduated and we are all home trying to get back to a normal life. Where have your son/daughter gone for A school?

My son stayed in Great Lakes for A school. He is in holding until a class can be formed. Says it may take a couple weeks. He's getting familiar with the base. Found the Library the other day and got a book to read. I know he's bored at times. He keeps texting me and his sister. There are some awesome pics from graduation on RTC facebook page.

What is your son going to school for? My son is still there, and he seems to like it, although he is one of the night owls there right now. School goes until 11pm so their ships "day" is at night.

My son is still in Great Lakes for A school too! He's a undesignated seaman and ships out to Mayport, FL on September 12th. His ship is going to be the USS Vicksburg :-) Do any of you Moms know where your son/daughter is heading? My son goes to school from 7am to 6pm (11 hours) then he spends the rest of the evening talking to me and texting his friends and siblings. But MOM gets the call lol ;-)
