OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Follow this link for OPSEC Guidelines:

On our way out the door to head to GL!  Looking forward to meeting many at Sarge's M&G.

For those who can make Sarge's MeetandGreet, that will be the one with the most info for you!  It is about 4-5 miles from RTC, near the Walmart shopping center.  Info up above where proudmomma directed below MEET AND GREET box!

Safe travel today, ladies.  Enjoy the MeetandGreets tonight!  Be EARLY tomorrow...this is a large PIR group.  So in the car line by 6 a.m. or on the earliest shuttle you can get!  Enjoy!

Comment by diannep on August 15, 2012 at 9:54pm

Congrats to 257-260!  Don't worry...those taking it over on Thurs night will graduate.  The 2nd time is the "charm" for many!
