For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Glad you got to see your recruit. woohoo...No, I didn't see my son. He is a rail guard. The cameras don't show that view. But there is a photo on FB RTC page...that might be him. lol Well, your son probably enjoyed the fire fighting stuff. And that's great that you are bringing a centerpiece. good job. I am not crafty, so I'm not...lol

Alrighty today is Wednesday...It's my slowest day of the week cause Mail Call is tomorrow. Get the final word on how he has been doing. Friday, I will be watching the PIR...Then my focus this weekend will be on getting the vehicle ready, everyone and everything packed, and get on the road Tuesday for an 18 hr trip... What an exciting time!

It was good to see 941 perform again. Also been watching 275/276/277/278 post that they are receiving the I'm a sailor call. Its so exciting. Damn, the weekend...lol Now, just a few more days. Wishing all the recruits the best.

I was so happy I saw my SR again performing! JBF -happy you saw yours too!! I know it's killing me watching all these phone calls come in and we have some days to go to get ours!! I pray my son feels better by the time BS comes. It's a long nite. I'm going to glue the phone to my side!! Have a wedding to go to today and trip shopping tomorrow, county fair Monday. whew!! Maybe it will make time fly! Everyone have a great weekend!!

Morning, glad you are able to keep yourself busy. Well, got a one minute phone call after 10:00 last night. Yah! Checking on the PIR list. He has lost his voice and think his is getting pink eye. Guess, the recruit crud is getting to all of them. But any communication is wonderful. It was good to hear what voice he had left...!
