@KristinaNH, thank you, it is competitive here also. I wasn't getting rehired at my old district, I was losing out to experience as well. I can tell you it is a numbers game when it comes to interviews. This is my third year out of school. My first I spent subbing, had two interviews. My second was in sixth grade, hired after school started, non-continuing, I would guess about ten interviews. This year about twenty interviews, and finally get a continuing contract. Keep at it, you will end up where you're supposed to be. The work for my Masters also helps me stay busy. And when I say my seven year old can't handle the change, I mean it's horrible. She has some OCD issues, and can't express her words as well as some other kids can, which means that when she is overly frustrated she has horrible tantrums. She was at a water park, when her sister left, which helped with the transition that day. We spent the day before at the water park with her, and that night they said their goodbyes. The letter addressed specially to her, helped a lot. Today was a much better day for her. She's excited sissy told her to tell me to take her to lunch next week, and sissy would pay for it. :) We are counting down the Fridays until we get to hug her. We watched graduation this morning to help prepare her for the wait of sitting there. It will definitely be a long six weeks. But worth it when we see her.

I lost it when I saw the pics on FB of our boys! What a happy day! I am so grateful for those pics cause I was really feeling down. I hope they post some of the young ladies for those with daughters in the Division.

My daughter is in Div 262, I have had no call or personal letter yet. Glad to hear that so many are starting to hear from their recruit.

Anadajoy, they are given the option of throwing away, donating or sending back.  They pay for the shipping so the heavier the box the more it costs to ship back.  Luckily my son trashed his shoes and socks... I wasn't looking forward to that smell :)

I'm wondering why I got a FedEx package with only my son's debit card, phone and binder he took with him...no clothing or shoes.  I expected his civilian clothes to come in a box.  Anyone else?
