Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

When looking through the individual Ship/Div links is there a way to make the "latest activity" show up at the top, or do I just need to keep going to the last page to see the latest reply?

EW764 We received a letter from my son this past Thursday...but no phone call yet. He did say he has received mail from us. So we're hoping we get a phone some time today.

Michelle Ship 11, for the first call we didn't get she said something about her RDC not allowing it but her reasoning made no sense, she wrote it in some shorthand I didn't understand. We got letters early this week, and in those she said she was told she would get to call on Thursday the 17th.So I have no idea.

Sailormoon9506 Has your daughters wrote you why she has not called? I didn't hear from my son yesterday either when his division was making calls. I hope we get a call this weekend

Alicia, when my son called yesterday he asked if I had gotten his letter - he said mom I'm way better now, I had a really bad day. So it's so true that it's a roller coaster for us and them - this is about the time they are starting to "click" as a group and getting to know each other a lot better and become friends. My son didn't pass his physical stuff either (sit-ups or the run, not sure about push ups), but he wasn't very active before he left despite his mom telling him to be all the time ;) They will get them there and you will be amazed at how more mature they will be when we see them at PIR! hang tough, I asked my son if he knew your son and he knew where his bunk was, so hopefully he will get with him and they can get to know each other. Navy Mom Hugs to you all!! NMH>>

Alicia: Many do the baseball games while there. Is this one on Friday or Sat? You just have to make sure that your SR is NOT late back to base....that is a huge no no! But if you can work it in to the Liberty schedule, should be fun!
And, just remember that BootCamp is an emotional rollercoaster! By the time you get a letter that is a little "down," he probably is doing much better!
