My husband is also same ship/division :-)

My boyfriend is in this division! :)

Cool, now we up to 3. Hi there *waving*
My son is also in this division...so now we are up to 4!

Okay, my son too is in this Division...

I worry because he is so prone to PINK EYE and I hear that many of the guys have it.

When I spoke to him yesterday, he had a cold and was coughing but denied that he was sick!

I worry that if he is not on an an antihistamine that it will travel to his eyes....always does!

I guess that's for him to worry about....and what's ironic here is that he is the Medical Yoman...he takes

the SR's to Med call and picks up their meds.....Too funny. I suppose he see's what's going on with these SR's and

does not want to be one of them in the infirmary!

Well, just shy of one month to go......my daughter PIR's on 8/12....so she's out of BC in less that two weeks.

It's hard, when he calls, I'm telling him all kinds  of things about his sister. Also, she passes everything, where he

did not pass his PT and I'm sure it bums him out....

Catch you all later. Let me know what your son's say when them call!

yay! more people. Thank you brejones for starting this group.

I have read a lot of your comments in the PIR group. thank you for sharing some of what your SR's told you in their call. I missed my call and it was really hard on me because the night before, I received a letter that said "please write me, other SR's are getting letters" I had already been writing him for 2 weeks, since the day I got the address. I did read that this could happen, but I was hoping it wouldn't happen because it breaks my heart that he didn't know I was supporting him, writing him, or anything. Even him feeling that way for a day, makes me hurt. OF COURSE I'm writing him, I'm his wife and I love him and miss him. Poor guy, and then I didn't even get to talk to him.

Your comments help me know a little more what is going on now, because the letters are after the fact because they get here later. Yes, my hubby was one that got pink eye - in both eyes. and has been sick for 10 days with a cold/sore throat or something. He just sounded all stuffy and coughing in his messages. He is never sick. I know it is because of the little sleep, stress, everyone passing it around because they are always together. He said that the doctor gave him a bunch of drugs and he hopes they help. Anyway, thank you all for sharing your call info. :-)

Hey Jenelle,

I was reading your comment on the PIR discussion about your son yelling at the kids, all I could do is laugh because its probably my knuckle head son.  He such a jokester and plays entirely too much at times when he should be serious.

BTW, Hi there Kimberly *waving* at both you and Jenelle.

Reading everyone's post in generating more questions for me to ask my SR, mainly about being sick, if he was and did he pass his PT and swim test and did he get his wisdom pull.  He was working out so hard and bulked up, I sure hope he passed but I will make sure and ask the next time he calls.  I don't know if y'all read some of what I typed but I sent my son the questionnaires that are on the site, I said son, fill them out and send them back and he said, you actually want me to fill them out and send them back....Ummmm, yes son so I can know in detail what's going on with you.  Again, all I can do is laugh at him but that my oldest baby boy.

Ok, well you ladies have a marvelous day, I have a family reunion to attend today and I'm so glad I can tell my family that I talked with him and he told me to them ALL HI.

I too sent some questionnaires but my son said he had not had time to fill them out....but he sounded terrible and said he was very sick so I am sure that's why.

ShelMaq don't worry about the letters they will get them. My sons letter said he had only got 1 letter in like 20 days and it broke my heart.....so when he called I said I promise I am writing a bunch and he said sorry, I got 6 pieces on Monday so he was feeling the love again.

I already wrote this to the whole PIR 9/1 group, but just curious... is any of your SR's a SeaBee

I don't know, my son hasn't mentioned anything like that but then again, I didn't talk to him that long for him to give me that information but I will be sure to ask next time I talk with him.  What is a SeaBee if you don't mind me asking???
No my son is a nuke.

my son is in this division. the list is slowly growing!
