That would be my son's division - teaparty24!
Good deal....I have posted all these links to specific Divisions also on the Deppers for July site, so maybe all will see this and join us. My son is in div 303 but I am the person thats going to be letting the ramda inn know how many are approx coming to the Meet N Greet Thursday Sept 9th 6-8pm
And this would be my daughter's Div!!
I just found out that my daughter is on Ship 09 Div 302.... I'm counting the days to PIR and hoping she is doing well. I miss our conversations.
My daughter is in this ship09/div302 also and I miss talking to her everyday and it seems like 9/10/10 is so far away. I'm not that worried about her now just wish I could talk to her at the end of the day like we normally would. It's hard on a mom not to be a part of their life for this period of time but I know it's all for the good.
I feel EXACTLY the same way about my son! Can't wait until next week!
Hi ladies!

My husband is in this division! Has anyone received a letter from their loved one yet? I mean, a real letter, that he wrote, not the papers on insurance and stuff like that?
It's Thurs. and no letter today:( I am ok though. I know where she is and they are taking good care of her. Maybe tomorrow the letter will be here. I refuse to get myself all worked up over her training and tough time she may have. They are adults now and they need to go through this. It's boot camp not summer camp so I want her pushed to the best of her ability. I let her know in the letters how much I miss and love her, give lots of support and encouragement. I would feel disrespectful to her and might make her feel I didn't have full confidience in her if the letter showed I was worried to pieces. I would like to get that letter because I have written 14 so far and I feel like I'm talking to myself!
GRAD N GO UPDATE!!! (If already post today sorry, just got home and wanted to get info out asap) I spoke with a very nice PO and he said that they are no longer going to be giving out G&G info via phone because too many complaints that info is 100% true and people are actually asking/demanding for reimbursement for their plane tickets. He suggested I visit N4M's because according to him we have all the answers and can be more helpful than anyone. I was totally laughing out loud when he was telling me the about so he figured I wasn't a crazy (SSSHHHHH!!!!) and when I told him I was very active w/N4M's he said well let me see what I can do for you. He looked up Div 302 and said it does look like this Div is also G&G. He said he will NOT commit that all 100% in this Div are G&G but would be safe to "assume". Michelle, for you I did ask if by chance he could tell me if the G&G status was connected in anyway regarding Rate and he said it was not. Just because one MC or YN is G&G doesn't mean all on the same PIR date is G&G. Hope this helps. :)
Hi there, We were told before hand, when my husband picked his job that he would be training at Great Lakes. So he is not a G&G, and he is on Ship 9, Div. 302. I think it just depends on what job they have, which they should have picked out at MEPS when they got their ship date to Basic Training.

Unless they change their job during BT, which is hard to do, then they should have been able to tell you before they left for BT where their training would be.

Hope that helps somewhat.
I don't know if anyone has received letters yet, but I received 2 in one envelope and the other envelope was addressed to Dallas' sister Emi, her 15th birthday is 8/4 and he wanted to send her the first letter, but we both received them on the same day. It was really exciting to hear from him and he still has his since of humor, which means a lot to our family.
I got my first letter from my husband who is in Div. 302 yesterday. He said that he found out they can write after "lights out" at night..so he told me to expect more letters from him.

It's good to hear that someone still has a sense of humor while in BT, because it seems my hubby has lost all his. :(
