Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 349 and 350
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

So glad to hear that some of you have gotten calls. We are still waiting. Of course, it's killing us not hearing from her. I keep asking myself if her phone cards didn't work? Did they not activate? Was she too far down the line? Did she not pass a test and therefore not get to call? Anyone else not get a call? Hopefully will get a letter soon.
I feel better just hearing that from you. Thank You!
Got a call Saturday. We cried so hard we couldn't talk. It was great to finally here his voice. Still no letters though. He said this past Sunday was the first Sunday they could write, sooo maybe by Thursday I will have something in the mail. Book our flights today. The whole family is going. Can't wait to see him.
That makes me very nervous. My son is Ship 12 Div 349 and I have not received a form letter yet, but his recruiter found out he was graduating on the 13th and leaving for ASchool the 14th. I sure hope she was right. Because 7 of us have booked hotel and airfare for that weekend.
Hopefully will get my letter today.
Haven't gotten my form letter yet. Does anyone know if this ship and div. will graduate the 13th. Just got an email from a mom whos daughter is in same div and her form letter said the 20th
My daughter is Ship 12 Div 349 graduates on Sept 13. Keep in mind if they don't pass everything or get injured that date can change.
Brysmom: If your SR is in Div 349, then definitely PIR 09/13....unless, as Tracy said, your SR is asmoed (setback) for any reason. Hopefully not!
We got our first letter from our SR today. Now I know why she didn't call last weekend. Nothing serious. Was great to hear from her. She is doing well, misses us & home & her dog. I would expect that. All in all she sounded very good and I feel much better hearing from her.
Ship 12 Div 349 Yay for wefixit on getting her letter from her SR today... so glad it was nothing serious that you havent heard from her until now.
Hope all you moms get to read a letter today!
Have a great Wednesday!
