~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

blessedmom, It shouldn't be a problem to send the case to your SR.
Hi received letter yesterday, we are very happy, actually this is his second letter, one page letter, not a lot of information, but my SR is fine, passing tests. I have a question, he ask me to send him contact in a small padded envelope. I need to send a pair of new contacts, the little contact lenses holder, but I also have a small container that mi SR uses to put the lenses in it with solution. are they allowed to have this at BC, I am talking about the little 2" bottle. with solution.
thank you for your help.
Catmom508: Love the Bible verse, I mailed to my SR with an extra copy for friend. tks.
Woo hoo, got a letter today!! I found out when Battle Stations is scheduled for 11/345 and I will send the info. to diannep in a pm! Oh my gosh, she sounded so good! I had sent her a questionnaire and she sent it back so it was so cool to see her answers! They were thrilled to get bobby pins for doing a good job on something! She isn't sure how her pics will look because of hair not being done and no makeup! LOL! So good to hear from my girl and I hope the rest of you get letters today too!! I had to laugh, I asked her what she wants to do on Liberty and she said: "manicure, pedicure, massage, hair highlighted " this cracked me up since I don't think there will be enough hours!!
They will be the first divisions to go through BattleStations, which will start next week for this group. I can't get more specific than that on public posts.
Yes, they are, Heather. They are brother divisions and brother divisions go together (they do all training together).
Are 341 & 342 doing BS together?
No problem, Amazonannie. I have been keeping track of the BStations dates on this site since early 2010. But, I DO get the dates from the ladies on here, so I would appreciate the ladies friend requesting me the info for their division when they receive it (and if you have dates, I would appreciate those too). After a division does BattleStations, I will post that date in the Schedule in the BattleStations discussion above in the Forum---just so we have a record from PIR group to PIR group. We cannot reveal the dates publicly before they happen (RTC's request), but we can after the fact.
Jacob'sMom: I sent you a friend request with BattleStations info in it. Don't hit ACCEPT or the info goes away. If you want to hit ACCEPT after reading the info, you can!
Amazonannie, No worries, not all here have FB and diannep has been keeping the dates here on this site for a couple of years.
People can still message you for the dates too that isn't an issue, but diannep is here all the time :) and can sometimes get to those needing and wanting a date quicker.
