Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 315 AND 316

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important

Every single concern is genuine

Every single member is important to us

We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

I booked there for 2 nights, I was thinking of taking Sarge's cab to the airport and then back to the hotel, reason being, this will be emotional having to say goodbye again and I will need some time to compose myself so I am safe to drive home. I live in Wisconsin so not too bad of a drive. Then on to retail therapy, I will need it!

Hello fellow 315/316 moms!  Just curious where you guys are reserving your rooms and whether or not you will be attending Sarge's Meet and Greet.  Would be great to meet up with some of you.

Also, Is anyone planning special door decorations for their sailors and/or PIR Ribbons for graduation?

And lastly, will any/many of you be traveling into CHI for dinner/time with your sailor afterwards?  If so, will you be renting a vehicle?  I have heard pros and cons to that so just wanted to get a general consensus here.  Reason being, sailors who will be traveling to Pensacola for A School will likely leave for airport in the wee hours of the morning and I want to stay at the ORD Hilton graduation night so we can be there just as soon as she arrives which will give us the most time with her.  That means checking out of hotel in Waukegan after graduation (so we don't have to worry about our bags), shuttle to Hilton, check in, drop bags and THEN to cab or Metra into downtown and then 6 pm train back to RTC to drop sailor and then we have to train it all the way back to ORD.  Has anyone thought this far ahead?  I mean logistically it sounds like a nightmare, but I don't really see any other way.  Thoughts and collaboration might benefit us all.

We are three weeks away. I cannot wait.  Our SR's are in the home stretch now.  :)

Hey 315 mama here.  I am not sure yet if we will go to the meet and greet.  I really would like to depending on what time we leave home.  We are driving in.  I'm staying at the Navy Lodge I'm not very crafty so I will attempt to make something if nothing is on my door I failed.  As for what we are doing, she told me about the train that goes into downtown, she said her instructors told her if she goes that's the best way, they leave every hour and its right outside the gate.  I will would like to get some ribbons made.  I probably will do at least that.

Has anyone heard from their recruit regarding 315 PIR 9/18/15? I haven't heard anything from my daughter so I/m getting a little nervous.

HI Erin, I tried to send you a private message but you have to accept me as a friend first.  Can you do that?

I have not heard anything yet either ...on Facebook Div. 316 triumphed in the integrated divisions at the captain cup over the weekend

They have BS21 soon.  I can't post more than that on here. Due to OPSEC  You can send me a Private message and I can tell you what I know from there.

I got my call I got a sailor congrats to all that did past

Hi fellow mom's,

Although I did not post very often, I much appreciated all the information that was shared on this page.  PIR was sch a great experience.  It was wonderful to see all the support our sailors have from family and friends.  Since my son has moved onto A school it is time to say good buy and move onto the Nuke moms group.  Happy sailing!
