Ohiomom...we aren't sure what we're doing yet either.  We are supposed to call Sarge back tonight and hopefully he can help us out.  I'm really crossing my fingers that we will make it to at least part of the meet and greet.

Ohiomom...we talked to Sarge yesterday as well.  What a nice guy- I can't wait to meet him in person!  He told us to come to the meet and greet even though we don't land until 6:00.  He said this is a huge graduation with so many divisions involved.  I was wondering the same thing about getting back- though maybe we shuttle back as well

They haven't gone through yet as far as I know, but expecting the "I'm a sailor" calls by tomorrow!

The anticipation is killing me !ha ha!  I hope the calls come tomorrow because I'll be flying out on Thurs. I also hope my PIR ribbon comes tomorrow too.  I ordered it awhile back.  Do any of you have the ribbon link?

LibbysMom...the ribbons are for moms to wear to graduation.  I learned about them from this website.  I can't find the link anymore, so I hope the ribbon comes tomorrow. My son is in 316.  Have a safe trip.

Just want to wish eveyone traveling to PIR a safe journey! Can't wait to see our daughter on Friday!

I have a sailor!  Congrats to all the moms getting their calls now.  I was surprised that he got to stay on the phone for an hour, and it was wonderful. We called my husband, and we called my mom.  She was so surprised, all she could do was cry.  This has been such an emotional journey over the last 7 1/2 weeks.  I'm excited that he will be in Pensacola Sunday, and that I'll be able to visit him, since we only live 4 hours away.  He told me about his best friend there, SR Orth.  I also talked to someone named Mack.  He told me he loved me!  LOL.  I can't wait to meet everyone once we get there.

I have a SAILOR!!!  Yea!!

I have a sailor!!!!!!! So proud!! He sounded so tired tho! Lolcant wait to see his sweet face <3

I'll be at the Sarge place for meet and greet. I hope to anyways. Any of you??

We will be there too, though we dont land until almost 6pm. Sarge said to come anyway. I'll be the one with the sheepish look while slinking in late! =) Safe travels everyone!
