Tears of Joy! He sounded great and he is going to A school so that is great news as we didnt know that at first. His letter was dated August 19th and i will try to put in here as much as i can of what he has been doing. He said yesterday (remember letter aug 19) that they practiced turning over hand guns back and forth to each other. He says he now gets to do a 2 hour quarter deck watch where he and another SR give othesr permission to leave and those coming back permission to come in..he said he loves the break and can talk more just a little bit. He said he has made good friends with a kid who's last name is the opposite of mustard, if thats sounds like anyone you might belong too...lol Downside is he has to mop a hallway that is about a 100 yards by 7-8 feet long and he said it takes forever lol guess our home kitchen floor dont sound too bad at this point..lmao He said other kids get his group in trouble every day for TALKING...he was not liking that.
The best part is that he said he loves getting a letter from me every day and it has kept him with high hopes and very motivated and he also said the questionnaires i send him he loves but now i think about it, i gave him a paper to fill in the blanks but i havent got that back...lol...maybe next thursday...BUT the best part of it all is he said the every day letters are the best and he said YOU ARE MY ROCK MOM! That comment will last me a lifetime, well mabye at least until next Thursday LOL
I hope everyone else has received a letter too please share yours if you can if they talk about what they are doing, mabye between all of us we can figure out exactly what they are doing LOL
HUGS TO ALL OF YOU!
