OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Follow this link for OPSEC Guidelines:

Thanks for the Friend request.  I keep a Discussion and spread sheet up-to-date with the ratings and the locations of A Schools (See Ratings, A School Locations, and Links to Groups).  Kellyd mentioned on her page that her future Sailor is going to be on a sub and I know that sub school is in Groton, so I was able to steer her there.  You can check the discussion and find the groups or let me know the rating and I can let you know.  If there is anything else I can help with, let me know.  Take care and blessings to you and yours.

Add Mary Martin, Jackie Lake and Brenda Bouroque as friends.  We've been friends since the inception of this web site.  I can also suggest them on FB.  The front page is going to give you the most info.   In groups, check out the boot camp and graduation ones.  You won't know which group to add right away for his job unless you already know what he's going to be.  We didn't know Patrick was going to be an FC until PIR.
