Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 371 and 372

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Just a shout out to the friends and family who are part of the crews of  371 / 372!  Welcome aboard!  I hope we all get a chance to chat here and meet at the PIR in October.   Pax!

Thank you for the welcome! Our only daughter is part of this division, and while we miss her greatly, we know she is doing amazing things!

Hey all, mother of 18 y/o daughter that says, "get on that group, Mom, and get to know the other moms."  So here I am, computer impaired and missing my girl so much.  These have been some tough weeks.  I swore I won't miss her, but I don't think I've stopped crying since she left STL.  My youngest of 3 and my first time alone since I was 20.  Hope to get to know you and can't wait for the 4th!  (If I mess up and post on the wrong place, just point me in the right direction.  Thanks all.

Which division is she... 371 or 372?

LOL, my daughter said the same thing! I told her I was WAY ahead of her and had sighed-on before she left, but that I was just now getting settled into talking with folks from her Ship/Div.

She is 371.  I'm a little slow.

That's ok...I only asked cause my SR told me over the phone last weekend that after she got my letters She was telling all the girls about Navy for Moms so they can pass the info on to their moms. The girls seemed excited to know we were all connecting. =)

Mine said there are four girls in her division.  Your daughter must be one!  T. said they were all getting along well and "it's getting better, Mom."  She was much more her happy/goofy self on the last phone call.  I was kind of expecting a call this weekend but it hasn't come yet.  Phone glued to my person 24/7.  I'm sure my SR is handling this much better than her momma.

I just got a letter from my girl telling me about this site, so here I am. I am so excited for her and her choice to join the Navy. Oct. 4th can't get here soon enough. My SR is in 371, she said it has been tough but a great experience. Her last letter made it sound like she was enjoying herself even being sick with a head cold. I

they must be passing it around, lol, my daughter is in 372 and has a cold and ear infection

my daughter is in 372 and she keeps asking if I ever got on here.

Looking forward to meeting my new Navy family :-)
