Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 373 and 374

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Hello! My son is Ship 13 Div 374....new to all of this!

Is one of you the mom of an aviation electronics rate?  In his letter, my son said he and the guy in the rack next to him are the same rate, so they'll be together through boot camp and A-School in Pensacola.

No, my SR is staying in Great Lakes for A School.

Mine is going to Pensacola for A-School, but for Aviation Mechanical Engineering.

mine is going to GC Nukes

My husband is!

Cool!  I wonder if he's in the rack next to my SR.  Small world.  I figured the chances of that person being on N4M's was pretty slim, but just maybe...

Don't forget to join the group for Pensacola A school, too!  I figure I can start gathering Pensacola intel for my SR before he gets there, and then fill him in later.  LOL

Ill be sure to ask him next time I get a phone call:) and ill deffiantly join, I try to get as much info as possible

Got a call!!!  Saturday at 5:30 Pacific time, talked for 15 mins.  He sounded so good, said most (if not all) of the Div is sick.  Despite feeling a little under the weather, he sounded so wonderful!  He loves what he's doing, not a second of doubt or second thoughts.  Oh, it was so so so good to talk to him.  I hope everyone got calls today.

Got my call around 8:30pm eastern time, he sounded great, did say many were sick but so far so good him, he says their starting to work together as a team, things are getting better, not much sleep, food ok, but it made my day!!!

Hi All,

My son is also in ship13, Div. 374.  Can't wait to see him October 4th. I miss him terribly but am also happy for him. Luckily, I did speak with him yesterday.  He said most everyone in his division are sick with something or other (including my son).  I hope his Dad and I can spend the graduation weekend with him since he will be staying in Great Lakes for his A school.

our son is with your son!! he is in the same ship and division- he will also be in great lakes for A school, but he doesn't know what they will be having him do yet. friend me on facebook if you want!! we are planning a trip up there for graduation- driving (it is about 11 1/2 hours for us)
