~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

LoriM are you using Chrome to print the Gate Passes. If so that may be your problem. Change browsers. Another option is to save the document to your computer and then print from saved document
I can not get into the pdf files, to print passes,,,, is there another way to get into to print the pass???
just clarifying,,, not a new boyfriend just a new family member to be put on the list...
Oh boy, LoriM. Not sure she can still update her list at this point though....they usually update them about a week before PIR....not sure they can change them after that....but hopefully it will work out for the new one to be there!
Heidic I have to tell my daughter the boyfriend is no longer,,,this is going to be very hard... but I have to make sure she takes him off the list and puts someone else... I am so ready to see her and hug her,,, and I love to listen to her sing,, so I miss that too!
Good Morning!
"Listen to advice and accept instruction,
and in the end you will be wise."
Proverbs 19:20
Thanks ladies, That is what I was thinking, just wanted another opinion- I have been second guessing everything-guess I am just so nervous and excited!
Heidic: I would tell him during the I'm a Sailor call....at the end of it, if he doesn't ask before then. He will be so happy to be a sailor that hopefully he will handle the news better then!
So I agree with Yorkiefan!
I m SO READY!!! I have my Door Poster ready, my ribbons, centerpieces for meet and greet for Div 318, printed gate passes, directions, have all id Just need to pack then we are OFF.
