My Ex got the call last week (because, I got the 38 second I'm here safely call). He has not even bothered to let me know how Paul sounded, what he is doing.....nothing!! I had to drill my daughter to see if he told her about the call...that always makes me feel bad to put her in the middle!!
Ex's.... UUUGGGHHHH!!!
We received six letters from my daughter today. She reports things are tough, but she's keeping strong. It looks like she is having to be on hold for A school because the job she was told available is overmanned. We're not sure what will come of A School, but we'll remain prayful. She's looking forward to seeing us for graduation. She's studying, working hard, and going to church and counting the days until graduation. I am so happy to get her letters, and have read them several times to make sure I did not miss anything. I will sleep good tonight.
I'm glad she is doing good! Tiffany mentioned her and AJ's Keeper Girl in her letters, just that they say all of us talk about them. I am not sure if they are really able to talk much but at least they know we are out here! LOL Did either of yalls girls mention phone calls? Tiffany seems to think they won't get to call until battlestations, but I'm not sure... do yall know?
My daughter did not mention when she would call again.
TIffany said the reason why the didn't earn a call for Labor day was because one of the boys took some peanut butter crackers and was caught flushing them down the toilet! LOL She said the RDC's were "beating" them and then said "ITing" them and the girls had to study! LOL
I will do that.
I got a letter last Friday. I just knew things would be getting better for my son but it has not. I would so love a phone call soon. He also told me no phone call til after battlestations. So I am not sure. This is the longest 8 weeks of my life.
I'm sorry, but know how you feel. Tiffany's letters were so sad :( I can't wait till mail this week to see if she has perked up anymore :( YES This has been the longest 8 weeks of my life too! Especially when the write they are having a hard time and there is nothing we can do.
I have a question. I will be staying in Grandview and will be renting a car. Any recommendations on how to best get to the PIR on 10/01/10???
I'm not sure where Grandview is, do they offer a shuttle? I think it is a 50/50 split on driving or a shuttle... so I guess it's up to whatever is more convenient for you?? LOL I have no clue either!
whoops sorry didn't see your post to AJ! LOL
