We will be at the Red Carpet Inn. Arrive Wed, leave Mon. I'll be wearing my ribbon and probably change my profile pic closer to PIR to one of me so we can recognize each other.
Hi all, we are staying at the Red Carpet Inn. About 1 1/2 miles from the base. Anybody hear anything good or bad about this hotel? Appreciate all info. Thanks
Positive comments about this place on page 2. We are hoping for the best.
Thanks for the help. I just read them too. I was a little worried, but then I don't think my son is going to care where he can hang out with us as long as he is out of the RDC's control for a few minutes. LOL. He is ship 13 Division 324 and seems to be hanging in there.
We ended up changing because for about the same price, we go a suite with a sofa and kitchette, indoor pool and hot breakfast. Just hope the kids are not grad n go so they can enjoy it.
We're staying at the Residence Inn in Waukegan. Thurs - Sat.
I am changing my room reservations. The homewood suites ends up to be $79.00 / night for a 2 room suite- one bedroom with two double beds and a room with a living and kitchen area, full fridge. indoor pool looks nice. two bedroom suite has king, then 2 dbls, 2 baths and the living/ kichen area for 149.00 a night. I used the corporate code on the flyer we got with the form letter. Only downside is there is no shuttle.
Original plans for Red Carpet Inn would have cost the same, no fridge, no sofa to sit on, hair dryer as available.
Looked into Navy Lodge today and it was booked.
We are staying at the Spring Hill Suites. They gave us discount for our son being in the military.
I originally booked the Ramada...for the M&G and shuttle. But, I have not heard good reviews, and started to panic! I stayed in a SpringHill Suites last month in VA....very impressed. I booked the one in GL's last nite. And, I found out that all N4M's can attend the M&G, and you can sign-up for the shuttle at SHS when you check in. I still have the Ramada reservation, need to cancel incase another family needs it!
I'm staying at the Residence Inn, also im looking for anyone with ship 13 div 329, haven't heard from son yet!
Got a letter today from DJ today. Not sure what it says. Still at work. Will read it when I get home. :)
