hi yamile, Molly hasn't said anything in her letters that gives me any info on what they are doing. I am in the dark. All these other moms are talking about flags and tests and things and I don't know about any of this. I am going to start asking her about these things. If you know anything let me know. Thanks
marsyt03, I will tell you what my son wrote to me. This was from Sunday, Sept. 12th. He said that they have inspection and a test, and tghey are preparing for a drill assessment. He also told me that the Sunday of PIR weekend,, there is going to be a church service for the families to attend. I feel terrible because I leave that Saturday. I have a function to attend on Saturday night for work and I am so heartbroken that I didn't plan better. I will plan better when he graduates from A School. I hope that helps you. If I can pass on any information when I get it I will. Don't worry though. Molly may be really tired or sorting things out on her own. You can't predict why kids don't tell us what is going on. We just have to be there for their support. Hugs to you!!~!!
thanks for the info winniesam, Molly did mention that she thought a lot of them would be grad n go. I don't know if thats just a rumor. They must hear a lot of different things all from different people. So don't feel bad, they may be leaving early anyway. Hugs back to you.
Marsy, I am as frustrated as well, when I spoke with my son over the phone on Friday the 10th he sounded so good……….. he told me so much and so fast that I barely remember half of the things he told me… and I was hoping he would detail all that information in his next letter. Then I receive a letter yesterday, which he wrote on Sunday the 12th he sounds totally different and he even said “ being here is starting to get to me … Not in a bad way, but I sick of waking up in the same room where everything is bare and cold.. the windows are frosted..” this is killing me, because I don’t how much he will be able to resist…
Thanks Winniesam (L :)) for keeping us on the loop…
Hi girls. I don't know a whole lot about Battle Stations but my son told me he thinks Division 343 will have it on day 6-5, which could be either 10/12 or 10/13... I THINK! I ask him in every letter so hopefully as it gets closer we will know.

Battle Stations 21 is a 12 hour - overnight - hands on "Test". They have to pass in order to graduate!

Watch this video if you haven't seen it... it's awesome! But have tissues ready... cause the end will make you cry... it did me at least. Tears of pure pride! :)

Some things never change!! They played that song, Lee Greenwood's God Bless The USA, 23 yrs ago when I was in Navy boot camp!! It will bring even the most hard heart recruit to tears!! The pride each recruit feels when they hear this song is soooo overwhelming!!!
im going to be mad if my bf is grad and go, because i wont be able to spend time with him as much as i want too. I just want to see him thats all and spend time with him
I bought my blue candle today! I feel like burning it from this point on. Maybe it will bring extra luck? LOL! You never know.
I got mine today, too! It's a Yankee Candle... Blueberry scone. Yum! My boy loves blueberry bagels! ;)

I'll be keeping it burning for all our PIR Group!

Hugs!!!
I'm with you Dana! I'm going to start burning it for all our boys and girls in BC. I think I may buy a backup one just in case this one burns out!!! Hugs to you:):)
I also started burning my blue candle today, I asked my mother and my sister to do the same. And I am planning on asking my mother-in-law as well...
There is any way we can find out when they will start their battle stations?
Yamile,I ask my son everytime I write to him. I don't think they even know, but if I find out, I'll let you know right away. If you find out please let me know! Hugs to you:):):)
