Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 347 and 348

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important

Every single concern is genuine

Every single member is important to us

We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Today, Thursday is my usual day for receiving a letter from my son Ben. I got six each one said the same thing. The gas chamber sucked but it was no big deal. All the rest said he hates it there he wants to be at home he can't stand being treated like crap he doesn't feel like a real person anymore. He's tired he hardly gets any sleep he doesn't eat. Everything reminds him of home and he gets teary eyed. He's worried about myself and his father how we're copping without him. Were both disabled and up in age. He worries something is going to happen to us and he'll never be able to go hunting with him again. All his friends went to college and are having parties and fun and he's stuck there. We were completely shocked when we read each letter. He was doing real well got 5.0's and 100% in his tests , he won a ribbon and medal in guns. I don't know what happened. I had chest pains all day thinking I'm going to end up in the hospital again with a heart attack and won't be able to see him. He says he has no friends and keeps to himself because he's so sad. His Dad wants to bring him home but I want him to stay he's doing so well. I don't know what to do. He's in division 347 if any one has a son with him could you please ask them if they know him and how is he really doing. Thank You, I would be most grateful.

I'm so sorry your son is having such a hard time. My son is in DIV 348 and they are suppose to be brother divisions but I don't know how much direct contact they have. I know there is a chaplain there maybe he can talk to him it may help. I will pray for him and if he gets a chance to call tell him to hang in there it's almost over.

Thank you for your prayers CDsMom

My son is in Div 347, as soon as we get a call I will ask him. Could you please inbox me & tell me your son's first and last name. I know it's hard but it is almost over. He is in the final stretch. I am saying prayers for him for peace, strength, and guidance to get through the rest of this. Hugs to you.

Thank you again Betty

Whoo-hoo, we all made it! Congratulations everyone. This is one happy, proud momma right here!!!

Happy mom here too. Benjie' s mom I too will have my son reach out to yours if they call again. That would so hard to read.  Boot camp is almost over and things should let up. Our children worry more than we think. Hang in there it's almost over.

Our Sailors did it ladies! Congratulations to all & God bless each and everyone of them.
