Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 329 and 330

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Thank you for creating this... Can hardly wait to hear news from 330

No letter or phone call today from our SR..... did anyone else get calls today???

Yes,

we got a call totally unexpected! but very happy

I got a brief phone call from my SR today. She sounded good.

Has anyone booked plane tickets yet?

We did a week ago. So excited to see him!

Hello everyone! My SR called this morning. She sounded good. She said she also got to write us a letter yesterday, yay! She had to walk somewhere to make the call because her card wouldn't work. Not sure if the minutes were up. Will send her another one today. Her bunkmate is from New York and they have become friends, which is great! Anyone have a daughter from New York?

Sounds like her division took their swim tests. She and a few others had to take the test that is a level up from the basic swim test due to their rating?? She didn't think she had passed because she was told to get out of the water right before she rounded the last buoy. They told her she would be able to take it again in A school. She wasn't upset about it, just not sure about it. She said the food was good and she was eating more there than at home, not used to eating 3 meals a day. Worried about gaining weight!  Their division has had one IT session, lasted 45 minutes. She actually felt good afterwards, haha.     Sounds like the division is doing ok!

i'm thinking IT doesn't stand for information technology?

I believe it stands for Intensive Training, it is the workout they do when they get into trouble...

I am so glad to hear this, we missed the call on Saturday, My SR only memorized his Dad's phone number before he left, and so he didn't call me when he couldn't get though to his Dad. There is a letter with Shouty capitals with my phone number, so we don't miss any more calls! Just getting any info right now makes me feel so much better!

Happy for you .... Nice to get a little bit of info still waiting. Does anyone know if they did not take a phone card with them can they still make call???

I have gotten 2 calls, I ask him every

time if he needs me to send him another

he always says no he had already gotten some. so I think he can get some there.
