Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 339 & 340. These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the main wall to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Hi PaulaKylesMom! I'm good! Not home yet... hopping for a letter waiting at home. ;) I hear Aaron has been home sick. But we will see! I have a good feeling something will be waiting. I can only hope... hehe
I hope you got one! I hope Aaron gets to feeling better!!

Hi there!  I just got three letters from my son and I think you are the mom I am supposed to contact and send a message to.  Last name starts with R?  I hope I have the right person! Anyway, the message is: Kyle said you arent getting his letters, but wants you to know he is trying.  But, it looks like you already received a couple!!  Awesome!!  It sounds like our boys are bunk mates and are becoming really good friends.  Kaulin talks about him in all of his letters and they are really great support for each other.  I sure hope I have the right mom!!

Hey! Our last name does start with R. Are you in Oregon? I have received 4 total now. Just took a little while I guess. Nice to meet you, I'm paula. :)

I am in Oregon.  I am happy to hear you finally got your letters! Its nice to meet you too.  My name is Mindy.  I am so happy that the boys are friends and have that support.  Sounds like they have down days and are able to keep each others spirits up!  But it does sound like they are having fun with their PT, even doing extra workouts in the evenings! They're nuts!

I have also heard about your son, that's why I asked about Oregon :) Kyle is a workout freak lol I so miss that kid! He said On the phone the other night that the evenings can be the hardest times for them, I'm glad Kyle has found someone to go through all this with!

Good Morning everyone!  How is your Tuesday going? Any news for your SR?  Hope all is well.  I look forward to chatting soon! :)

Good morning!! Nothing new today. Rainy in Ga and just trying to get motivated lol. Just got finished writing Kyle and going to try to accomplish a couple things today. Maybe haha. How about you?

Good morning!  I received another letter from Austin yesterday :)  Said they were fitted for their uniforms last week which took about 6 hours.  He also said they'll be wearing their dress blues at PIR!  He's very positive, upbeat, and has not said anything negative in any letters I've received, and I've received 4.  Makes this momma very very happy!

I hope everyone is receiving good news from your SR's.

Have a great day,

Jessica

Hi Jessica! We have received 4 also. Kyle seems very excited in all his letters. Lol. I love the dress blues! My hubby always looked so handsome in his. Can't wait till October 19!! Have a great day!!

Hi all-

I have received several letters and they all sound great!  He misses home alot, but uses it as motivation to keep going.  He said they are all studying hard, more than he has ever done before!  Sounds like they are passing the tests and moving forward! Oct. 19th cant come soon enough!

Hi Everyone!  I just want to let you know that the Navel Lodge is the closest to RTC.  You may want to get your reservations in.  Courtsey of your Son/Daughter rooms are fair price no taxes or fees.  Which is sweet.  I will be there the 18th.  Anyone else interested in getting together and chat before... I'm game!  Can't wait! :)
