Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 339 & 340. These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the main wall to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

Aww, that's awesome :) Thank you and Happy Birthday to your Austin!!
I love Thursdays! It is the day that I get letters from our SR! She sounds so much better as each week goes by. This letter talked about how chilly and windy it is getting and everyone's hats blowing off. The funny part, she said, was that everyone is freaking out about how to retrieve their covers without looking foolish and breaking military bearing. She just seemed more herself. She is Ship 11 Div 340 and said that if they did well this past Monday during inspections, they possibly could get another phone call this Saturday. She also said, "don't hold your breath!" Countdown to Oct. 19th!!!
Paula and I both got our coins yesterday!! LOVED THEM!! Really fast shipping too! Just 3 more weeks and we will all be HAPPY MOM'S!! I already feel myself getting emotional just thinking about it..I have a feeling I may be a mess that day!! Haha!! I'm so proud of Brandon and all our SR's and just love and miss him so much!!
Hello Ladies, This is just a duplicate of what I have posted on the main discussion. Just made our car reservation with Ace Rent A car using the promotional code on the brochure we received with the Form Letter. Really good deal and very nice and helpful customer service. Have a nice weekend..

Good Morning Everyone! It is a beautiful sun shining day! We have 19 days till PIR! Getting down to the single digits before you know it! Whoot Whoot! I will be so nice to see our Soon to be Sailors in their Navy Blues! No letter this week. But that's ok. I got 3 last week! I will keep the letters going! I'm just so excited and having a hard time focusing on the right things. Having nice distractions does help! Have a wonderful weekend! And we will see you all soon! ;)
HELLO Ladies.
Pleasant surprise to get a call from my son on Saturday. :-) We spoke for 32 minutes. He sounds real good. Ready for the rest of the challenge leading up to PIR. I got pretty choked up tonight when it was time to say goodbye. My one and only you know. For me, as long as he's in the Navy I don't think this will ever go away. But it'll get better after he's done Boot. Emails, Skype, phone calls, etc. :-) I'm looking foward to this while checking into ordering, sending him a laptop, etc.
To those of you still looking to purchase a pink scarf, here's a tip:Try Amazon.com. There's a good number of them. Even a pink bandana!! Some offer free shipping as well. And if you order now, you'll get them in plenty of time for your adventure to Great Lakes. Have a nice Sunday everyone.
