I am so excited I received the letter today also. She is Ship 9 Div 342....I can't wait to see them all. I was very happy to see this group formed so soon!
My son's in Ship 2 Div 949.
Hi everyone! Just got our letter today. Our daughter is in Ship 9 Div 341 - anyone else out there with a child in that division?
I got my letter today. anyone in ship 9 division 342?
kprnpn, It is very possible in all the chaos of processing she threw it in the box by mistake. The recruits are being yelled at to hurry up put and put all personal items in the box, they do not tell you to keep your phone cards, wallets etc. While doing this, it is not quiet or peaceful, and if it was in her pocket she may have forgotten about it.
You can send it back to her in with your first letter, there is not a problem sending them to your recruits, and yes she probably should have it.
I have a question...any idea why in her box of clothes that were returned there was her cell phone AND her phone card I was instructed to buy for her? Isn't she going to need that to call home?
Got the letter today too! My daughter is on SHIP 11, DIV 340.
No personal mail, just had the courage to wash her clothes from the box today!
Can't wait till 19 October 12 !!!!
Does anyone have an SR in Ship 02/DIV 949? My son left from Indianapolis 8/22. I haven't gotten any personal notes yet...
