~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

grace: The lowered-numbered divisions will probably be on 1-2 (training week 1, day 2) on Monday. There are 6 actual training weeks. The other divisions should be starting training week 1 early next week.
bearligirl89: RTC asks that extras (not on the guest list) stay off base and watch the LiveStream. For those who need to be there....children, elderly family members, disabled, etc....they will allow them to watch the LiveStream in the Chapel on base. If you have extras who do not fall into the above category, you can see if they can get into the Chapel if you want to. I directly emailed Public Affairs last Fall about this and Brian Walsh is the one who told me what I posted above.
I made my hotel reservations. Are there any suggestions for hotel room posters? We've got 3 rooms reserved. My son said that although only 4 are allowed in the drill hall, other family members/friends are allowed to come on base and wait until after the ceremony. My artistic daughter, and SR's little sister, will love making the posters.
grace3298,
That's where I got the link from--Boot Camp Moms!! And funny, both diannep and I posted the link for you at just about the same time!! Lol!!
Kaitsmom,
Your SR will probably have leave time to come home after she completes A school and after that, it depends on her duty station assignment, holidays, and her leave availability, so she will be home for visits~~
My SR is Ship 3, Div 336 - he thought they were on day 1-3. Did anyone else get info on what day they are on? My SR wasn't sure. I'm trying to follow along on the day-by-day.
He's RFHPO which should be under RPO3, but I didn't see it anywhere. He told me he's in charge of cleaning brooms lol
