Diannep, you need the order form to order any extra pics or the DVD if you didn't order it at the NEX, they do not take phone orders.

amaris:  I hope you or your sailor ordered the PIR DVD so that your hubby/mother in law can see some of the ceremony.  If not, here is the Photo Lab number to call and order:

So very sad that this new rule caught people in this PIR group and the one the week before  We N4Moms veterans are trying to get the word out on the future groups that if people are not on the list, even if there are less than 4 on the list, they can't get in.

Graduation was pretty amazing. My son was so handsome in his navy blues although i saw him in the tan shirt and blue slacks and i think i like that one better. So we brought my mother in law and she was not on the list so she couldnt get in even though we only had three on our list so then my honey had to miss the graduation because he couldnt let his mom sit by herself in the car. We were pretty upset but what can you do. Tjey had a woman yelling if your not on the list pls exiit the building dont argue just exit the building. So my daughter and i went in. I loved it and so glad that i was fortunate to be there. We r off to pensacola thanks again

Thank you veterans again for all of the sound advice.   We just got home after spending the weekend with our sailor.  She is staying at GL for 3 weeks, then home for 10 days then to the USS George Bush aircraft carrier in Norfolk.  (I hope I can post that) She still seems very upbeat about everything.  I feel so much better now that she has her cell phone and I can contact her although I am going to try not to hover over her!  I will wait until at least Wed :)

We are back in Texas. My Sailor says she loves Pensacola. Thank u so very much, vet moms, for putting up with our emotional rollercoasters and for doing it all over again week after week with other PIR's. BZ!!!!

Yes, I remember Sarge saying that too, butrfliesnstars.  Even though I was absolutely devastated about what happened with my 15 year old, I understood it from the Navy's point of view.  As much as it sucked, and it really did suck, security takes priority over our feelings.  Imagine something crazy happening at the graduation, and them having to explain why they let someone in who wasn't on the list.  In a way, all of us are getting in as a courtesy.  If push came to shove I imagine they could shut the whole thing down and prevent everyone from coming.
