That is the zip code I have been using and is on the letters I get from my daughter. The last four probably don't matter. :-)
Thats good. as long as they are getting there, thats all that counts.
Agreed!
In the letter that I received today, she told me that they are getting 1/2 hour each night that they can write letters. I don't think they will be mailed until Sunday though. I don't know if they have won any flags. I assume not, because none of the recruits have mentioned that that I know of.
my letters been getting to him just fine without the last 4 digits of the zip(I never knew what it was).FYI, I am so glad to get the letters back in the pre-addressed and stamped envelopes that I sent to him. I send a pack of stamps too. Not sure if they can buy any thing there so I wanted to make sure he has everything. He mentioned something about his atm card and how his knee caps were ashy so I assumed he does not get lotion to put on, he was religiously anal when it comes to taking a 45 min showers sometime twice a day and loading himself up with lotion to keep his legs and body soft I guess...and now they get a 5 min shower and as a group too..lol. My mom told me that they get our letters each day that they arrive but they are not allow to mail theirs until Sunday so keep writing....they must be doing something good to earn the writing time each nights, my mom said that he will not get to call again until maybe next week so I am guessing they have to earn that too.(not sure if it is an individual privilege or group).
Welcome Dillon's Mom...this is a great group of ladies. I am at work right now, so I can't write a lot. will touch base with you later.
Andrea
I haven't received any letters since Thursday. Sorry for your rough day yesterday. Hopefully a letter or a phone call will come soon.
@DillonsMom, I hope you will get the letter this Wednesday, as they will be able to mail theirs out today,
I am in MD so I get mine on Wednesday, my parents in Florida and they get theirs on Thursday. So I hope yours will arrive soon to keep your mind at ease.. I will write to my son and ask him about Dillon and also about the grade thing, but hang tight from the letters from my son it sounded like they are doing fine...and remember no calls is also good news..keep praying each nights that he is doing good and that the rest of his group is pulling closer to one another as they need each others to get through it..
Hello All from Ship 7 Div 349, Has anyone from this group doing a meet and greet? My son is a grad and go bound for Pensacola is anyone else's also a grad n go?
my husband is a grad n go but he is jsut going "across the street" his A school is in Great Lakes
My son is a grad and go also, leaving for Virginia on Saturday. Looks like a lot of grad & go in this division. I talked to him Monday and he said they have a very good division, they work well together. He said they are very close to earning an extra hour of liberty. I'm very proud of them all.
Thanks Ginny for sharing.
I wish mine was for VA...we lives in MD..so that would have been awesome!
Yes my son always sounded very positive and proud of his division. From what I heard they might be earning more flags and medals..It seemed that all of the divisions are doing extremely well so this whole PIR 10/29 graduation groups should be very interesting to watch..I am very proud of them all too..
