So I need to share something hysteical with you all....I called public affairs today to find out the password for parking passes. The lady who answered the phone got all excited when i told her what div my son was in because she had to go out there and take pictures for something and they were right in the middle of an inspection and yadda yadda yadda...she went on and on. She said they seemed to be doing good. She had me in stitches. She sounded more happy to hear from me.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. Yesterday I was driving down the road and thought of seeing my son (sr) in uniform and starting tearing up. He doesn't have BS21 until Tuesday nite and I'm going to be a basket case by then. lol
I'm the same way I have butterflies everytime I just think about next week :) I have my own little countdown. Lol. 2 full days until its two days until PIR lol. R full days until I'm on the plane.. Woo. I'm so excited!!!
Yes, my son is Ship 7 DIV 352

I have been off and on crying for the last three weeks. I need this to be over. I just need to hug and hold him tight and then I can let him go again. The first rip away was tough! I just need to see him and know he is okay.

Good luck to them tonight!

Safe travels to you all.
Stacey
HI!!! (Everyone)..
Yippeeeee...She phoned me tonight & I was bouncing off the wall with excitement!! I had held onto my phone NONSTOP all day hoping she would call!! She passed battle stations! YAY!!!! ... But has'nt slept since yesterday at 5am and is sick as a dog!!!! I woke up a billion times last night looking at the clock wondering how she was doing, etc!! I am soooooo proud of her and all our recruits... NOW SAILORS!!!! Have a safe trip to all!! tonight I finally have that ... Aaaaahhhhhhh feeling in my belly.. now I just need to hug her!

Take care & Than You for the support!!
Donna
Congrats! My son was also very excited but so very tired. It was going to be a challenge for them all to stay awake until 8:00 last night, especially since many are sick. I woke up through out the night too and kept looking at the clock. I will probably do that again tonight in anticipation of our flight to Chicago.
Looking forward to PIR!

Have a safe trip,
Patti
