ok so i'm alot backwards.  Just found this group and wondering how all your Sailors are doing?  My Son was Ship 07 USS Chicago, Div 350.  He is now in Pensacola and working on his next step.  He made alot of friends.  So late yes, but love reading all the posts on how things went and are now going.

Wow! Congratulations on the performance.  My husband and I went down there this weekend to see the trees.  The tree is pretty this year.

I'm sure your daughter appreciates your sacrifice!  I hope everything is well for you and your sailor. Merry Christmas!

ProudMom - Yep.  We sang for the pre-show at the National Christmas Tree lighting.  It was VERY cold but fun.  We got to carol while all the people were coming in for the lighting and finding their seats. I usually get to stay for the show as well but I had to leave right away after we finished singing to get home to my daughter's school concert.  She's a senior and I don't want to miss even one of her performances this year.  I told her that she knows I love her because I gave up seeing BB King live!  lol

Musicmom~ Do I remember correctly that one of the performances was at the National Christmas Tree lighting?  If so, how was it?

Hi everyone - sorry I've been MIA the past few weeks.  Holidays are very busy for music people.  Six performances for my daughter and I in the last week alone.  Crazy but I love it!

Reason I came up here is that we got the PIR DVD in the mail and watched it the other night.  It was great to see it without tears like I had that day.  But I gotta say this about the production of it.  REally????  Very low budget for the money.  I'm not a total video geek but I could've done better with WindowsMoviemaker.  It looked like a video from the 80's.  They should've charged at least 10 bucks less for it in my opinion.
