I asked my son yesterday when he called if he had talked to anyone about Battlestations 21 but he said it's kind of the code of the Navy that no one talks about it so that the experience is "fresh" for each new group that goes through. I know it's in the back of all of their minds that it's coming up in a few weeks, but they have a lot to learn before then too.
Does anyone with a son headed to Nuke School in Charleston have any idea of when they are going to be headed there from GL? I asked my son and he said he wasn't sure yet so I doubt they've been told. He said the possiblity exists that if they aren't ready for them in time they might have to stay in GL until after the Holidays...he's hoping that doesn't happen. I'm hoping he's not a grad n go ether so I can spend a little time with him after graduation

My morning is great Kate. I am working on ribbons and my sailor is in the other room sleeping :-). So nice to have her home. She has talked to you on here I think in a wives/girlfriends group. It won't be long now until she gets to go to PIR as a guest instead of a participant. It is cool that she will get to see it from both sides lol.
