We got the form letter today! It had a short, but sweet note from our son - can't wait until he writes more! I was finishing up at Walmart when my husband called to tell me we had a letter and he wanted to open it ... without ME!! Of course I told him to wait!! lol (I had to make one more quick stop after he called, but I beat it home as quick as I could)

And so, week three begins ...

Pattie Lee - You should be able to call your son's recruiter to get his mailing info. From what I hear, letters are a lifeline to them, especially once training starts. I am glad he sounded like he was in good spirits. :)

Thanks so much for all the nice compliments on my sons. They have all been great kids and I am so proud of them.

Someone on this page sent me a friend request who wanted info on ordering PIR ribbons. If you sent me one send me a message. My computer had an issue when I excepted the request and now I have no idea who it was from so I wasn't able to send the info. Thanks :)

I got my first call Saturday from my son. He's been gone 12 days now and I was so excited to talk to him that I forgot to ask what his ship and division number is! But at least I got his PIR date. He sounded great. I can't wait to get letters so I can write letters to him. I love seeing everyones comments:)
