My son is in Charleston and I chatted with him on Facebook yesterday...he said he can have his phone and ipod, etc....he bought a laptop at the NEX already. I'm mailing his stuff out today so he should have it early next week. I think they can all have their stuff now. He said they actually treat them like adults there. LOL

Love seeing all the new profile photos of moms with their sailors so I changed mine also. Also like seeing the empty face profiles disappearing!! Being able to put a face to the name. Hahahaha...I really had a hard time at the mandg trying to match everyone with names and profile names... I almost needed a notebook...lol

No phone call yet. No address yet. But, he is resourceful! He bought a psp at the NEX, said it was really cheap and he is able to use it as his internet source. Last night he was chatting with his brothers and sister and posting on fb. He says the psp actually works pretty well.

Got an address from our son in SC on Wednesday nite. His roomate is actually farther along in A school. Been there since July. The roommate had a phone and let Jason use it. Very nice of him. Jason likes that he has someone who can give him the lowdown of what to expect the next few weeks. : ) .

Air crew: I did send the phone overnight and it was delivered yesterday at 9:33 am... which was great since I didn't pay for morning delivery...but I haven't heard anything from her yet, so you may be right about Friday. I sure hope she gets to call or text soon. Her computer and other stuff will arrive on Tuesday.
Boys are not wonderful communicators - I didn't think my daughter was, but her letters were full of information. It was wonderful!

Andy is in Florida and is undergoing INDOC currently. He has a roommate he gets along with well. Has a fridge and a microwave and seems generally happy so far. It's great to be able to talk to and text him. I am going to send a care package with all the stuff he loves to munch on. Have a good day all.
