For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hello. a group for division 350 ship 7 to discuss letters and such. My daughter called saturday and got to talk for 15 minutes. She said they are all doing Ok. and doing a lot of ironing and folding..

Its 0345 here (TX)... 4hrs 15 minutes my DIV is done with BS21... 3days 5hrs 15 minutes until PIR.

I would imagine so.. MAYBE he didnt have any minutes on his phone card.. but still you would think they would give him 5 minutes or something.

@Momof Sara..so True about our extended families..This site has been a lifeline for me.I get all choke up too knowing that that our sailors are the only ones in the world that going through this.

Trying to get some rest while thinking about BS21...not an easy feat! The thought that they are the only people in the world doing what they are doing right this minute..overwhelming to say the least! Wishing all of you a very safe trip whatever mode you are traveling...It is truly amazing how in 8 weeks we have went from total strangers to family...From my family to my extended navy family have a fabulous night!
