Yes the holidays will make it go even faster for yall I think... And closer to the PIR yall will want to arrange a Meet N Greet at the Ramada. They do it for the PIR families for free. :) Hi everyone!! im much better this week, however everyone in my house knows, don't try to get to that phone before Mama! LOL havent heard his voice yet or gotten a letter but lpved seeing the writing on the "box" that I knew was his. Actually, its comforting to me. Im so proud, can hardly wait to see him in his uniform and with his division. So happy he chose the Navy and went to the recruiters that he did. We are an Air Force family so we know the way the military works and I have to be honest, they have been very good to our family. It will be fun to meet those who are attending PIR when we all get there. It is truly right around the corner!

Hi all, I know this group is very small and I am here to help. I do want to let you know that there are 2 groups with this PIR date and while it is still early you should get together and combine the two so that all the other families who have PIR with you will be able to find each other and go through this journey together. I will post this on the other groups page as well. Let me know if you have any questions at all. I have 2 sailors, one PIR in July and one 2 weeks ago. It has definitely been a roller-coaster ride but this site has kept me hanging on. I love this site and I am here to help in any way I can and pay it forward. Welcome to Navy for Mom's :-)
