I was just curious, why do the calls come later in the afternoon?  It is like a 12 hour drill, overnight, right?  So?  I just wondered if anyone knew?

Excited for you all expecting the I'm a Sailor calls today!  They should start coming in around 2 pm GL time...or maybe later...Be ready all day with that cell in your bra!  Don't leave it for a moment!  With 4 divisions going through last night, the calls will take a while.  Also, they may have to do PIR practice before calling.  So be paitent.  Please ask your new sailor if ALL in his/her division passed and post that info for ladies who haven't heard from their sailors yet.  If someone doesn't receive a call, it could have been that your sailor had watch and will call tomorrow.  33-36 should have gone through last night.

Good morning friends!  I too am on pins and needles!  I didn't sleep a wink and from the way it looks, my son will do BS on Wednesday night.  We'll be on the road Wednesday and most of Thursday!  I'm praying for good cell service while we travel!!  My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you as we wait for that prescious phone call from our recruits.  Back to pacing around the house!! I can't eat.  I can't sleep!  Anybody got a lead on a good under eye concealer?  The bags are growing!  lolol

Good Tuesday Morning!!  Yes three days and yall will be together... 4 and you will be shouting, crying and hugging Sailors!  Woooow what a ride.  This book and chapter are almost over now.  Then on to new ones!

When the Battlestations calls start coming in, be sure and get on your puter and tell everyone so that moms in the same divisions will be prepared for the call.

I don't know about anyone else...But my stomach has been in knots for about two days. I am so nervous for my daughter. I've been praying for the past two months..but have been close to tears for the past couple of days. I want to see my daughter so bad....I just want to get that call. I want to get the "Hey Ma...I'm a sailor call, or I made it". If I can just get that then I can start packing for the trip. Like most people, I paid for my trip a month ago....and I'm just so excited to see my sailor march in with her Division. I can't believe i will see her in 2 more days....Yippeeeee.

I dont know about you guys, but I had a restless night.  Knowing what our kids were going through last night, laid heavy on my heart.  I cant wait for that call today. Funny story..... It wasnt funny at all last night. I lost my phone!! After an hour of backtracking where i had been, of course I couldnt call anyone to see where I left it, i located it in my car....  In the bowels of my car....  It had fallen under the emergency brake and it literaly took me 1 hour to het it oout.  My 82 year old neighbor helped me. I just kept on thinking that I was going to miss the call I had been waiting so long for. Anyway, got it and wont let it go.  I taped up the spot where it fell through.  Talk about redneck!!!  No offense to anyone. I have had this car 7 years and that has never happened.  I cam laugh about  it today.  Se you all in 2 days..  OMG!!  Did I just write 2 days?????  YUP!!!!!!!

Joanie- the ribbons are to wear to PIR, they have the sailors name on one side and div on the other. You can see pics on my page if you click on my name it will take you to my page. Send me the info and if I can figure out how to get the ribbons to the residence inn maybe I can send you one as well. It looks like I may have to send it overnight and that is expensive. Okay goodnight ladies, it's midnight and my carriage awaits lol.
