Go, Alli's Sailor, Go!! Hugs and prayers to you both and to all the divisions doing BS tonight.
Wow Dansmom, life is certainly a roller coaster. Good for you, being supportive for whatever she does. Be strong and know there are lots of moms to support you.
I got my sailors PIR DVD today. He had it sent here since our address doesn't change.

If I had everything to do over again at that age I would join, she would have so many opportunities, Keep her in your prayers and she'll make the right decision

Dansmom - many thoughts, prayers and hugs going your way! I can't imagine what you are going though, but I know your daughter will appreciate your support! I wish you good luck and peace or mind and heart as you all work out the decision!

Hi everyone, back from sunny sky's of Mexico.......... trying to catch up on everyone.
Dansmom I personally do not have a daughter, but I can tell you if I had things to do over again with my youth I would do the Navy. There is so many opportunities for them. I know it would be very hard for you.
Hi Alli just a few more days!!!!!!!!!! yepee

Dansmom, Here is a big hug. I will keep you in my prayers that all works out for the best. I am certain you will be fine. There seems to be a lot of fine ladies on this site who have been threw it. Everyone take care. I am still waiting for that second grandbaby. Due anytime now. My son, in A school. Is finally settling in and comming to terms with what he needs to do. Eating better (he says very bland fare) and the sleep routine. He did have to go to the dr for knee pain. Apparently he overstreached the muscles above and below his left knee. He says it is painful, but he will do fine. Take care everyone.

Ali - Thursday will be here soon...although I know it will be longest 4 days for you! I am sooooo excited for you!!

Thanks for asking about Daniel...things are settling down now (emotions were on a roller coaster for about 3 weeks). He was able to get a job at Sears in the receiving dept...its seasonal, but its a job and he is excited about it!! He has changed alot since he went to boot camp in August, but mostly for the good I think. We took him to a counselor to make sure he was really ok with the reasons for his separation and that came back all good! So in 11 months he can decide if he wants to try again or not. In January he'll start college at the local community college! I am soooo happy the sparkle is back in his eyes and he humms and sings as he goes around the house...and Saturday I had a house full of 18-20 year old males laughing and playing board games...it was good to see/hear!

Molly - glad to hear dinner with Pete went well! Was he able to take his dog?

I am so glad Tucker is home and able to spend time with you Molly, enjoy every minute!

Ali - I am soooo excited for you...less than a week and Gavin will have made it all the way through...I am so glad he was able to stick with it and get through it!

How very sad,
Daniel said one of the girls at A school was sent home for "post tramatic stress syndrone" this week. He said they are d/c ing people left and right. He also said that the Navy has informed Recruiter's not to sign on people right now.
