Good Morning everyone, Phyllis what a lovely poem, you are very talented.

Alli I'm so proud for you and your new PIR date, you will love it! As you have read form many moms it's just amazing. The differance in our sons/daughters is very surprizing (for the good).

Hi everyone, I'm back from the saddest funeral of my life. Its amazing how different 2 fridays back to back can be. I want to thank everyone for all the prayers for myself and my neice. She will be coming to stay with me for a while on Monday. Just needs to get away. You ladies are the best.

Daniel is great, loves GL and some freedom. He's running in a 12 K run today, I can't imagine. He calls "a lot" I'm grateful! every night I get the good night Mom I love you.
All of you P'Cola moms.... It's one of the prettiest place's I've ever been to. I lived very close for 10 years and I never tire of just going and watching the waves and the crystal blue water. Your kids should just love it there. and again if I can ever help with anything for your sons I'm here.

Molly what would I have to do to get a Thanksgiving group up? Can I get all of this forums kids in P'Cola for Thanksgiving and bring them here to my house for the day?

I picked up Daniel from LAX today! He's lost about 30lbs! Looks pretty good! He seems to be in good spirits. Several friends are getting together Sunday for dinner and a movie with him so thats good.

THe good news is that when he was finally separated, they changed his code from an RE4 to an RE8; so once he gets his medical issues settled, and 12 months have passed, he is eligible to go back into the military if he decides!

It was so totally awesome to hug him....he even cried before I did!

Thanks to all for helping me get through these past weeks! I look forward to reading about all your sailors journeys and schooling! And who knows, maybe in the next couple of years I'll get to experience my own PIR! In the meantime it will be interesting to see where life takes us!

Just to let you know, I talked with Daniel yesterday; he separates from RTC on thursday and will be flying home Friday the 16th! He said he saw the Div (351) on their way to PIR. He seems to be in good spirits!
