Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Molly girl I have a question.......... I was packing up some of Daniels things to take with me. Do I take a few pair of boxers, socks, shoes, ect or all? Also you said a coat, right?

I don't think they send grad packs anymore. Did you print off your parking pass form the original form letter that came abut a 1-2 weeks after he left? Your info is no that letter. If his BS is today you should get a call tomorrow afteroon. The last letter I recieved was last Friday, but they are really busy preparing for graduation adn BS. Hang in there, we're almost there.

Well the old addage "no news is good news" is certainly true! We got "news" today and it isn't good! Daniel is getting a medical separation from the Navy. I don't know anymore details at the moment! I wish you and your families all many happy memories! I will be thinking of you all and your smiles and tears on the 9th!

I was affraid I would do that, the day after Daniel l went on a diet, have lost 21 lbs since he left. After his last letter I think we just exchanged it because he had gained almost that much.

my son is in 346 we would love to take hime out with us. If N1H1 hits your hospital like in hit ours you better hold on tight, and 85% were children.
