Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Patti and I had are great time last night, took Chris out to eat at a wonderful Fish House. Our husbands enjoyed meeting each other. Hope you all have a good rest of the weekend.

I'm glad to hear all is doing well. Congrads on the grandchild Alli, doesn't sound like the timing was good but you'll be happy when he/she gets here. Daniel is doing great, hopefully will get to come home on his way to Virgina Bch to get his car. Looking forward to that.
I get to see Patti -Chris's mom on Friday, whooo hooo she is coming to see Chris and we're going down to see them also. This is just the greatest site! I hope you all have a great weekend.

Daniel passed all his interviews, medical, dental, ect. leaves Jan 26 for Little Creek, Virgina. He's looking forward to warmer weather but I know he'll miss his Chicago mom

So very sorry to hear of teh lose of one of our sailors. My thoughts and prayers to his family.
Daniel is going to meet with his commanding officer this moring in an hour. We hope it is for orders, I'll let you ladies know. Have a wonderful Monday and try to stay warm.

Wishing this year is a great one for all you Mom's and sailors!!
My sailor finished A school, came home for Christmas yipee!!, reported to Whidbey Island in Washington state and is waiting to be shipped out to the USS Eisenhower. My head is spinning from all that has happened. Looking forward to the next leg of his adventure.
Molly, thanks for hooking me up with some great Moms that have lots of info and advice. You Rock!!!
