Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hi Kristi, I'm glad to see I'm not alone, my son is in DIV 356, have you recieved a call? I have not, maybe today will be teh day. I'm an ER nurse and they called me back to work last night and I told them I'd only work if I coudl have my cell phone in my pocket. lol, of course they agreed. Co workers here have been great. I live in a small southern town so everyone knows Daniel and are very proud of him joining the Navy.

Just got a letter today, all is well. When Sam went for uniform handout they were all out of his size, kind of bummed about that. No dental work for him, says 40 guys went to dental and only 11 came back with nothing done. They made a human "Go Navy" that is supposed to be shown at the Army vs Navy game. That must have been fun getting all those guys in the right place! Oh wait, this is the Navy, probably easy for the RDC's. Can't wait for graduation!
