OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Tks VJ I'll look into that.
I'm just looking forward to seeing the kid! He passed MOD 6 today, 1 more and he's done. Hopes to have his orders next week.
How is everyone? Daniel has been very fortunate to have a Chicago Mom. None other than "Chris's Mom" They went out to dinner Friday night. She a God send. Can't wait to meet Chris so I may be able to do the same. Love this site, had the best people in the world on it.

Daniel'smom when you look at laptops, you might want to look at Fujitsu, they have built in shock proof cases (in theory) so they can take a bit more rough handling than the "average" laptop. We bought one for Daniel for his birthday this past year and he loves it!

Anyone still around from 347? Daniel had a date this weekend with a young lady from that DIV. She sounds pretty special, and Molly she a snipe also!
