Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 411 and 412
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

We live in San Diego but his dad is originally from the Philippines and I'm from Guam.
Nice I am from Hawaii. Met a mom on here that was born in the Philippines and raised on Guam.
Nice...he misses his Spam and Rice lol...Hawaii, you're not too far then :) Aloha!
That is to funny. My son and daughter visited Hawaii over the summer. My son lived on Musubi.( Spam and rice) He said Mom its on $1.99 at the ABC store. LOL
Basket info, also we will be having a Halloween costume contest for the kids so we are asking you to bring there costumes and a bag of candy to pass out.
Just because the government shut down doesn't mean us Navy Moms Navy Dads, Grandparent's, Girl friends Boy friends, Husbands and Wives.. should do the same. Anyone that would like to put together a basket filled with items from your home state to represent your home state or items you have crafted, baked or borrowed and forgot to return to the neighbor that moved. You can bring it to the Meet and Greet and have it raffled off. With all the proceeds going to Sarge and his wife. They provide and purchase the food, nothing is donated. Sarge will also make a donation to cards for recruits with money raised from the raffle. Pay it forward, Pay it forward. The basket can represent your home state. We can have many different baskets with many different things in them. Sports items, Challenge Coins. Blue Candles. The possibilities are endless. Each raffle ticket will be $ 5.00 or 5 for $ 20.00. Really it is what ever you want to bring and there is a dollar store and a Walmart right across the street for people to buy baskets if flying in. You can use gift bags and even buckets. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me. Thank you. Time to have some fun.
Spam musubi...yum, I just made some last weekend. Two weeks ago we had the annual Pacific Islander Festival here in SD...I purchased all my son's Hawaiian candies for him and will mail it to him once he makes it to San Antonio...As for the basket, unfortunately I won't arrive in time for the meet and greet :/ I have twins that I will be leaving at home so I won't have much down time; otherwise I'm so in!!! Hey I have an idea what if I get some items to put together, send it to someone there to put in a basket for me??? I would love to participate in some way even though I'm not there...let me know. Oh and THANK YOU so much for taking the time to answer all our questions and for all you do for the SR's and their families...you make it so much easier for us.
I have added a discussion page above. Sarge wanted me to get a count of all the kids 12 and under. That will be going to the MEET and GREET. This Thursday. Oct. 31. He wants to give each child a t-shirt. So if you could let me know haw many are coming so I can let him know that would be great. I have also posted this on Facebook. So if you have checked in there already no need to do it again TY. Please pass the word I would hate for a child to miss out. BUT REMEMBER please check in at my discussion page above. Thank you to all.
