N4M's Community Guidelines and OPSEC.

~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.

~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.

~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.

~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:

• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:

• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.

Some Suggestions:

~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.

~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option

~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

LOL...I soooo agree that God gives you only what you can handle and takes advantage of some of us :)  I have been known to yell out "Cut me a break and go pick on someone else for a while" ... But that's a story for another time and believe me you can't make this stuff up.  Boys are definitely easier.  I'm left here now with my daughter and she is DRIVING her father and I CRAZY more than ever before.  I don't think she knows how to handle all the attention she gets now.  At least before she could divert the attention away from here because her brother was around. Now she can't and its funny to watch.

KB2OWJ Ship 03 Div 415 That's all we can do is keep the faith. God only gives us what we can handle. But I have been saying for may years. I think he takes advantage of some of us.LOL  He blessed me with 3 boys and 1 girl. Cause he knew I couldn't handle more then 1 girl. And biy was he right. I think biys are so much easier then girls. Although I must admit I var a pretty awesome daughter. Who happens to be the baby.

I remember reading that about the RDC using the threat to make them step up.  OMG Yes it is frustrating, but I will just "keep the faith" as Todd said.  I will continue write positive letters to him to help him keep his eye on the prize, even it I don't hear back, because I know I'll be seeing him soon enough at PIR.

I was side tracked my mom is cleaning out her closet and posted some really old pictures on FB. Highlight of my day considering no call, I had to cover two desk at work today and my face is still numb from the dentist. It could always be worse so I will take my day and be grateful.

KB2OWJ Ship 03 Div 415 Thanks for letting me Bug I mean butt in. lol I remember your comment about your letter last week and I believe I was told by one of the veteran moms that the RDC's like to threaten the recruits with being told they will be held back. But that doesn't happen. So I hope there right. Also I asked my son what was going on with 415 and he said that they have a very tough RDC. Hope you get a letter this week. I know its very frustrating not knowing.

Thanks Todd.  Definitely keeping the faith!!  (still concerned because letter mentioned his PIR  (not Div) may be delayed 2weeks.  Would like to know due to changing travel plans.

503 808.. you're not butting, just providing infor.  Thanks.

KB2OWJ Ship 03 Div 415 Not to Butt in but I was just looking at that and it seems to me probably 10-23. My son is in his brother ship 03 division. 416.

From what I've been reading, it does seem that many of the Divs have their issues of not coming together.  Like you I know once they are all on same page, it'll be a great thing.  Well if what you say is true about calls, I can only hope for letters. When in BS for them?\
