~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

My apologies for bugging out of here earlier this morning KatXMom and 503 808. Had a lot to get done before going and celebrating my husband's granddaughter's 11 birthday. Had a lot of fun with the gas pumping and nature stories :)
Just got off the phone with my SR so so HAPPY :) He is doing soo much better then last weekends call. He has been made a section leader. OMG can't believe the difference he sounded great! He did say their division is also having issues coming together and is frustrated with the ones who are not listening and talking when they shouldn't. He said he passed his first test and his inspeaction but the division failed as a whole on inspection and they had to do IT yesterday because of the talking. I hope these SRs who are not trying will get it together soon so that these divisions who are having issues can start becoming a team. Anyway feeling soo much better with this call as I was feeling pretty bummed yesterday. I still miss him like crazy but so glad he is doing good :)
Ladies: It is very common to hear the SRs say that their divisions are not coming together, etc. That is the motivation that the RDCs use with them to get them to come together...and they all eventually do. Just remember...they do not setback entire divisions, but can and do setback individuals. Don't worry...they'll get it together soon!
Smile: BattleStations is usually done at the end of training week #6, unless they are a push division...then it can be earlier. Your SR's division should be going through during PIR week....it will be here before you know it!
Remember, we are not allowed to post the BattleStations dates on here, but they can be private messaged. So....if you receive a date from your SR, you can post that you have one and others can message you for it. I would like them too since I keep schedules for each PIR group. Thanks so much!
