Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 355-356.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the main wall to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

I recieved a letter today...YAY! Said that they had their first inspection and didn't do well. Something about 3 deviations, which dropped their divisional score. I don't think that's good. :( Although on the up side he said he passed his personal inspection. Well just thought I'd share this with all of you. Hope we get a phone call soon. GO NAVY RECRUITS!!

Which division...355 or 356?

Div 355

I still think both divisions pay or play.  At least thats what Im hearing.

Based on what my SR said you are correct.

Yahoo PHONE CALL received and 3 letters.  His leg is doing much better,  and not so much pain as he had 4 wisdom teeth and 1 molar pulled.  I would be crying for days.  Says BC is going easy just hard part is really missing home bad.   That makes me sad.    The one thing he really wants after PIR is Mexican food.  Hope there is a good restaurant there.  Hope you all get a call too and some letters,  Bless you all,.and Thank you for thinking/praying for his recovery.  Also they got their Dress Blues..  Oh sorry am so excited I keep remembering more to saym it is important to slash thru the 0's in address.. I never did before and hope it dident delay any of his mail.  But I will I will.

So HAPPY got both a letter and a phone call. SR is doing good says food isn't bad. It reminds him of Football and Boy Scout Camps...lol. It was so good to hear his voice. He doesn't know if or when they will get another phone call. He said he had a run in with a tree branch and scratched his eye but he's O.K. He's just trying to get everything right so he doesn't get sent back...Hope everyone else got a call. Praying for a safe and happy 11/2/12 for Ship 09 Div 355/356

Okay all the Div 355 loved ones, let's find out where we all will be staying!  Also, if you are going to a M&G, who's?

Me personally, I have not yet made my reservations, but plan to this coming week.  I am going to try the Navy Lodge first.

Maybe, some of us can share on a taxi the morning of PIR to help cut costs... Let me know what you think....Yeah 355 and 356.

I just made our reservations at the lodge! Super excited we also bought our Amtrak tickets. Can't wait! Come on November 2nd!

Hey daizygirl72 we wanted to go by Amtrak but never could figure out the cost and where to get off.  Where will you be getting off Amtrak?

the Amtrak is awesome and so cost effective. We do it all the time between Toledo and Chicago. You will get off at union station in downtown Chicago. We have family there so will get a ride to great lakes. But many times my kids and I have taken the Metra(the local train) to great lakes or Waukegan depending on where you are staying. The Metra is really cheap and goes right to the base. Let me know if I can help you. I am really familiar w the area and trains!
